No Presidential Pitch at the Nationals’ Opening Day

One would think that bearing the duties of the office of President of the United States would excuse an individual from being expected to do something as trivial as throw out an opening pitch at a baseball game. One would think.

In honor of Opening Day for the Washington Nationals, The Post has published a thinly-veiled hit piece aimed at President Bush for having more important things to do than pitch a baseball.

As a former owner of the Texas Rangers and a life-long fan of the game, George W. Bush should not have prove his love for baseball. Of course, as are most things in Washington, the point of the article is really politically motivated. Just read the last few paragraphs of the piece, and you will see what I mean.
