President Bush, Orchestra Conductor

Had George W. Bush chosen not to go into the oil business or even politics, he might have taken up orchestra conducting. The forty-third President was in Jamestown, Virginia on Sunday to celebrate the four-hundredth anniversary of the first permanent English settlement.

But before he left, he took over conducting for the 400-piece orchestra that was present for the event. The musicians were rather impressed at how well the President led the orchestra, cueing the various sections and keeping the tempo going.
