Jakarta Is Hit by a Major Earthquake

The capital of Indonesia has just recently been struck by a powerful earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale. The U.S. Geological Survey says that the quake emanated from a point about sixty-six miles east of Jakarta at a depth of 180 miles.

It is still early, and no one yet knows how many have been injured or killed. Please pray for the people of Jakarta and the surrounding areas.
