Opera Star Pavarotti Has Passed Away

Luciano Pavarotti, the world-renowned opera singer, died last night at his Italian home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was seventy-one years old.

Regardless of whether or not one is a lover of opera (I’m not), nearly everyone knows the name of Pavarotti.
